There are 10 teams without a league goal across the EFL but considering Cheltenham went 12 games without one a few years back, fans might not be too worried just yet.
However, nine of those 10 managed to find their scoring boots in Carabao Cup action in midweek: Blackburn Rovers, Coventry City, Oxford United, Swansea City, Watford, Reading, Shrewsbury Town, Cheltenham Town and Barnet.
The exception was Barrow.
They’ve lost all three games so far and are the only EFL team still chasing a goal as they aim to change that when they host Notts County on Saturday (15:00 BST).
However, boss Andy Whing is feeling positive after their battling 1-0 defeat by Championship side Preston North End in the Carabao Cup.
“I can’t keep saying it will be fine, we need to start getting results,” Whing told BBC Radio Cumbria.
“We still need to be better in front of goal, we have to eradicate mistakes, but performance-wise we are getting there. We are getting better and better.”
