Leeds Rhinos back Chris Hankinson has signed a one-year deal to remain with the Super League side.
The 31-year-old joined from Salford Red Devils in August and has made eight appearances for the Rhinos, scoring two tries.
“Chris fitted in really well with our group in the closing months of last season. It can be tough to go into a new system with just a couple of weeks to go in the season but Chris showed a great attitude to get up to speed,” head coach Brad Arthur said., external
“The fact he is a senior, experienced player who is a reliable goal kicker makes him a valuable addition to our squad for next season.”
Hankinson is the latest player to commit their future to Leeds, after Ash Handley and Lachie Miller signed new contracts following the conclusion of the 2025 season.
Having also signed forwards Jeremiah Mata’utia and Ethan O’Neill for next season, the Rhinos will also have Fiji international Maika Sivo back after he missed the entire 2025 campaign following a knee reconstruction.
