Leigh Leopards have signed Papua New Guinea forward Liam Horne following his release by Castleford Tigers.
The 27-year-old, who had a Cas contract until the end of next season, has joined Leigh on a three-year contract.
The Yorkshire club said in a statement that Horne “has been released from the final year of his contract to pursue playing opportunities elsewhere”.
He will join fellow PNG internationals Edwin Ipape, Lachlan Lam and Jacob Alick-Wienke at his new club, and is set to play alongside them for his country against the Cook Islands on Saturday.
